Grand Cafe Orient
After almost 80 years, the unique cubist caf?© “Grand Caf?© Orient” was re-opened on the first floor of the House of the Black Madonna. Cubism in architecture and also in furniture, pottery, glass and lot of other things is a pure Czech phenomenon. Especially the House of the Black Madonna is one of its most famous and important representatives. The house was built by renowned architect Josef Gocar (that time 31 years old) in 1912. Come to see and admire the unique style and beauty of the Czech Cubism.
